Exposed: The Songs of Andrew Byrne Plays the Zipper Oct. 5

Exposed: The Songs of Andrew Byrne, featuring Deidre Goodwin, Ariela Morgenstern and Ryan Murray, is presented at the Zipper Factory Oct. 5.

Directed by Amy Rogers, Exposed highlights the work of New York songwriter Andrew Byrne. Described as "Forbidden Broadway for trashy sluts," the 8 PM concert also features the lyrics of Mark Blankenship and Lisa Rothauser.

Set to perform in the evening that "takes on everything from Sarah Palin to bathroom mishaps" are Deidre Goodwin (A Chorus Line), Lisa Anzelmo, Jodie Bentley, George Brescia, Kelly Briscoe, Michael Diliberto, The Glamazons, Shanna Lesniak, Jen Mintzer, Ariela Morgenstern (Adding Machine), Ryan Murray (Lone Star Love), Jenny Neale, Ricky Oliver, Chuck Ragsdale (The Ark, Ella Minnow Pea) and Lisa Rothauser (The Producers).

In addition to his work as a composer, Byrne has served as pianist and conductor for Les Misérables and A Class Act on Broadway, as well as readings of Triumph of Love and john and jen at Lincoln Center.
