07 Oct 2008

The Off-Broadway revival of Lee Blessing's Two Rooms, featuring Adinah Alexander, Angela Christian, Patrick Boll and Michael Laurence, officially opens Oct. 7.

Peter Flynn directs the limited engagement that began performances Oct. 2 and continues through Oct. 19 at the Lion Theatre.

Two Rooms concerns a man held hostage in the Middle East and his American wife who is attempting to reconnect with him by any means possible – ultimately stripping her home of all its furniture in order to share her husband's experience in captivity.

The cast features Adding Machine's Alexander as well as Boll (Rise of Dorothy Hale, Boys in the Band), Christian (Woman in White) and Laurence (Talk Radio).

The design team comprises Kevin Judge (scenic design), Thom Weaver (lighting design), Jennifer Caprio (costume design) and Scott Stauffer (sound design).

Tickets, priced $58, are available by phoning (212) 279-4200 or by visiting TicketCentral.

The Lion Theatre is located at 410 West 42nd Street in Manhattan.
