Easton and Schreiber to Read from Henry IV (and V) for Shakespeare Society

By Adam Hetrick
07 Oct 2008

Tony Award winners Richard Easton and Liev Schreiber will take part in the Shakespeare Society's Politics, Prince Hal, and the Making of a Leader Nov. 3.

Presented at 6:30 PM on the eve of the U.S. presidential election, editor David Scott Kastan and Yale professor George M. Bodman will join Easton (Coast of Utopia), Schreiber (Talk Radio) and Jeremy Strong (A Man for All Seasons) for an evening of readings and social commentary about Henry V, who role-played his way from prodigal son to the leader of a nation.

Liev Schreiber will read Prince Hal and Henry V selections from Henry IV, Parts I and II and Henry V, while Richard Easton will read Falstaff and Henry IV from Henry IV.

Tickets for the evening are available by phoning (212) 772-4448. The presentation will take place at the Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College (East 68th Street between Park and Lexington Avenues).
