Stephanie D'Abruzzo

Tony nominee Stephanie D'Abruzzo, Kate Reinders, Carly Jibson and Elizabeth Broadhurst perform Living for Today, a benefit concert at the Laurie Beechman Theatre Oct. 12.

Conceived and directed by David Alpert, the 9:30 PM concert benefits the Gilana Shira Alpert Fund.

Living for Today also features performances by Jessica Grové (Sunday in the Park With George), Celina Car Vajal (Tarzan), Todd Buonopane (Spelling Bee), Lucia Spina (Legally Blonde), Chad Johnson, Scott Sowinski, Daniel Torres (Altar Boyz), Eric Van Tielen (Tale of Two Cities), Brynn Curry, Jana DeBusk, Lindsay Foreman, Paul Louis Lessard, Paul Luoma, Michael Lowney, Jen Sese and Emily Zuzelski. David Dabbon serves as musical director.

Living for Today was created in honor of the late Gilana Shira Alpert by her brother, David Alpert. The Gilana Shira Alpert Fund was established in 2007 following the loss of Alpert at the age of 26. To date, the fund has raised over $10,000 and will be used to help those who share Gilana's passions.

There is a $5 cover charge and a $15 food/drink minimum. For reservations call (212) 695-6909 or visit WestBankCafe.

The Laurie Beechman Theatre is located within the West Bank Cafe at 407 West 42nd Street.
