"Legally Brown: The Search for the Next Piragua Guy," a tongue-in-cheek web series inspired by the MTV series "Legally Blonde The Musical: The Search for the Next Elle Woods," concludes Oct. 19, the same day Legally Blonde ends its run at the Palace Theatre.

Created and directed by Lin-Manuel Miranda, who co-wrote and co-stars in the Tony-winning musical In the Heights, each episode of the web series, according to press notes, presents "behind-the-scenes highlights [of] the fictitious show, Legally Brown – where nine Broadway actors compete to get their next gig, as The Piragua Guy in In the Heights."

Competitors for the role include Cheyenne Jackson, Allison Janney, Matthew Morrison, Noah Weisberg, Hunter Bell, Norm Lewis, Derrick Baskin, Telly Leung, and Eliseo Roman, who defends his role as The Piragua Guy in In the Heights.

Judges for the web series include Bernie Telsey, Quiara Alegría Hudes, Rickey Tripp, Seth Rudetsky, Andy Blankenbeuhler and Thomas Kail as well as In the Heights cast members Janet Dacal, Andréa Burns, Robin DeJesus and Lin-Manuel Miranda.

Asmeret Ghebremichael hosts the show as Asmeret Duff.

"Legally Brown" can be found on the Usnavi Channel of Youtube or by visiting www.legallybrownonbroadway.com.
