Seagull's Kristin Scott Thomas Wings Her Way to TV Talk Shows Oct. 24

| photo by Joan Marcus | Kristin Scott Thomas, the Olivier Award-winning star of the Royal Court Theatre's critically acclaimed production of Anton Chekhov's The Seagull, now on Broadway, will be interviewed Oct. 24 on CBS-TV's "The Early Show" and ABC-TV's "The View."
The actress known for the films "The English Patient" and the recent "Tell No One," will appear on "The Early Show" between 8:30-9 AM (ET) and "The View" between 11 AM-noon (ET). In the New York area, "The Early Show" airs on WCBS-TV, Channel 2, and "The View" airs on WABC-TV, Channel 7. Check local listings.
Scott Thomas plays the vain, selfish, vivacious actress and mother, Arkadina, in the classic Russian play, now at the Walter Kerr Theatre. She has earned raves for her turn on both sides of the Atlantic. The play opened in New York City Oct. 2 and plays a strictly limited engagement through Dec. 21. Ian Rickson directs.
