Outer Critics Circle celebrated playwrights with a dinner and a panel discussion, "Return of the Playwright," at Sardi's Restaurant Nov. 5.

OCC executive committee member Rosalind Friedman moderated the evening, which featured playwrights Tina Howe, Leslie Lee, Adam Rapp, Joseph Stein and Michael Weller.

The Outer Critics Circle is an organization of writers who cover New York theatre for out-of-town newspapers, national publications and other media beyond Broadway. OCC presents annual awards for Broadway and Off-Broadway theatre. For more information visit outercritics.org.
