Carmello, Gets, Testa, DeRosa and Kirkwood Sing Finn's Infinite Joy at Joe's Pub Nov. 10

A host of Broadway veterans will join Tony-winning composer William Finn for the return engagement of Infinite Joy Nov. 10 at Joe's Pub.

Set to perform from Finn's repertoire are numerous show folk who have appeared in his musicals including Carolee Carmello (Mamma Mia, Falsettos, Elegies), Mary Testa (Xanadu, A New Brain), Malcolm Gets (Story of My Life, A New Brain), Stephen DeRosa (Hairspray, Walmartopia, Infinite Joy) and Keith Kirkwood.

Finn will also perform as part of the 9:30 PM concert that includes original material as well as highlights from his musicals Falsettos, A New Brain, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Romance in Hard Times and the song cycle Elegies.

In addition, Finn will host Songs By Ridiculously Talented Composers and Lyricists You Don't Know But Probably Should on Nov. 17 at 9:30 PM. The Joe's Pub concert will feature the talents of Sally Wilfert, Alysha Umphress, Catherine Cox, Wesley Taylor, Michael Winther, Ben Roseberry, Nikos Tsakalakas and Rob Broadhurst. Tickets for the event are priced $15.

Infinite Joy was previously presented at Joe's Pub in 2001, featuring Carmello, Testa and DeRosa. A live recording is available on RCA Victor.

Joe's Pub is located within the Public Theater at 425 Lafayette Street. Tickets to Infinite Joy, priced $40, are available by visiting www.joespub.com.
