Dec. 1 at Davies Symphony Hall in San Francisco, CA.
The evening will feature the debut of Steve Schalchlin's (The Last Session, The Big Voice: God or Merman) new choral/orchestral work, New World Waking! Songs on the
Road to Peace, Inspired by John Lennon's Piano. Original Tony-winning Dreamgirls star Jennifer Holliday will sing the final movement of the piece, which will also feature three-time Oscar-nominated actress Piper Laurie.
Artistic director/conductor Dr. Kathleen C. McGuire arranged and

The evening will be recorded for future CD release.
