On Nov. 10 the 92nd Street Y's new downtown venue hosted "On Stage with Spring Awakening," featuring a panel discussion and song selections from the Tony-winning rock musical.

The 7:30 PM panel featured producer Tom Hulce, as well as Situation Marketing president Damian Bazadona and Undercurrent digital marketing strategist Mike Arauz. The discussion was moderated by David Cote, author of the musical's companion book, "Spring Awakening: In the Flesh."

Following the talk, the four panelists remained on stage to watch current cast members perform two musical numbers from the show: "All That's Known," performed by Matt Doyle, and "Sadness/Blue Wind," performed by Emma Hunton and Gerard Canonico.

The conversation is part of 92YTribeca's series of theatre offerings – readings, performances and conversations. For upcoming events, check out www.92YTribeca.org/theater.

Spring Awakening plays the Eugene O'Neill Theatre at 230 West 49th Street, where it will conclude its run Jan. 18, 2009.
