Dust, a new thriller penned by Billy Goda, begins performances at Off-Broadway's Westside Theatre Nov. 18.

Hunter Foster and Richard Masur co-star in the production, which will officially open Dec. 4. Scott Zigler directs.

The cast also includes Laura E. Campbell, Curtis McClarin and John Schiappa.

Dust, according to press notes, is a "power play. One man is an executive with money and a paunch. The other is an ex-con with street smarts and a minimum-wage position. One man says 'jump.' The other won't say 'how high,' but defiantly asks 'why?' What starts off as a battle of wills over who will do the dusting escalates into a war for respect, the upper hand and survival. Who will be standing when the dust settles?"

The production features scenic design by Caleb Wertenbaker, costume design by Theresa Squire and lighting design by Charles Foster. Roger Alan Gindi and Cassidy Productions produce.

Show times are Tuesday-Friday at 8 PM, Saturday at 3 and 8 PM and Sunday at 3 and 7 PM.

Hunter Foster was nominated for a Tony Award for his performance in Little Shop of Horrors, and his other Broadway credits include Urinetown, The Producers, Footloose, Grease!, Les Misérables and the concert staging of King David. He was recently seen in the Signature Theatre production of Kiss of the Spider Woman and as Dr. Frankenstein in the Off-Broadway production of Frankenstein, a New Musical. He also played Ben in Modern Orthodox and Ensign Pulver in Mister Roberts at the Kennedy Center. Foster wrote the book for the 2001 musical Summer of '42 and has also finished co-writing a musical adaptation of the hit film "Bonnie and Clyde."

Richard Masur has been seen on Broadway in The Changing Room and Democracy and Off-Broadway in Two Thousand Years.

Tickets, priced $65, are available by visiting www.telecharge.com or by calling (212) 239-6200. The Westside Theatre is located in Manhattan at 407 West 43rd Street.
