The Paley Center for Media presents the U.S. premiere of the new film "Frost/Nixon," which is based on the award-winning play of the same name, Nov. 21.

The Ron Howard film will be screened at the Paley Center Los Angeles at 7 PM. The evening will also feature a panel led by "Frost/Nixon" director Howard, producer Brian Grazer and members of the film's cast.

The Paley Center for Media New York will screen the eagerly awaited film Dec. 2 at 6:30 PM. Director Howard and producer Grazer are also scheduled to be part of the Manhattan event, which will also boast screenwriter Peter Morgan.

"Frost/Nixon" will arrive in select U.S. theatres Dec. 5 and 12 and will open nationwide Dec. 25.

The Imagine Entertainment and Working Title Films motion picture — which features original Frost/Nixon stage stars Frank Langella (as former President Richard Nixon) and Michael Sheen (as talk-show host David Frost) — also stars Kevin Bacon, Oliver Platt, Sam Rockwell, Rebecca Hall, Toby Jones and Matthew Macfadyen. Playwright Morgan also penned the film's screenplay.

Producers include Brian Grazer, Ron Howard, Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner.

The film is rated R and is 122 minutes long.

"Frost/Nixon," according to press notes, "not only re-creates the on-air [David Frost-Richard Nixon] interview, but the weeks of around-the-world, behind-the-scenes maneuvering between the two men and their camps as negotiations were struck, deals were made and secrets revealed...all leading to the moment when they would sit facing one another in the court of public opinion."

Frank Langella won a Tony Award for his performance as Nixon in the Broadway production. Langella is currently back on Broadway in the Roundabout's revival of A Man for All Seasons.
