Gerald Schoenfeld, the late Chairman of the Shubert Organization, was a staple at most Broadway openings and other theatre-related events. In fact, one would be hard-pressed to find a photograph of the legendary theatre owner and producer without another Broadway name smiling, or sometimes laughing, along with him.

Mr. Schoenfeld, a man routinely referred to as the most powerful man on Broadway, died suddenly Nov. 25 at his home in Manhattan at the age of 84. For more information, read Playbill.com's obituary.
