Heart of the City, according to press notes, "delights in a wide range of interconnected voices – from an erotic snake dancer; to a woman on the ultimate date-from hell. From young artists trying to juggle inspiration and a survival job; to a couple hoping to conceive a child; to a mismatched romance on the Brooklyn IRT. This new play artfully combines humor, joy, sorrow, love and romance as it takes you on a dazzling ride of the heart."
A talkback with the cast, playwright and director will follow the reading.
Reservations for the reading, held at the Woodward Hall Theatre, are not necessary. Admission for Heart of the City is $10. For further information visit HudsonStage.
