The television remake of "Cupid," starring Emmy Award-winning actor Bobby Cannavale and Sarah Paulson, will premiere March 24, 2009, on ABC.
Sarah Paulson (The Glass Menagerie, Crimes of the Heart) has been cast as the psychiatrist assigned to Cannavale's character. "Cupid" will air Tuesdays at 10 PM on ABC, replacing "Eli Stone," which may be canceled by the network.
Bobby Cannavale made his Broadway debut in 2007 with Mauritius. He has appeared Off-Broadway in Hurlyburly and Fucking A. An Emmy winner for his recurring role on "Will & Grace," Cannavale has also appeared on screen in "M.O.N.Y.," "Six Feet Under," "Ally McBeal," "The Exonerated," "100 Centre Street" and "Sex and the City."
