Iconis' Things to Ruin Will Return to the Zipper Factory in 2009

Things to Ruin, the theatrical rock concert from composer Joe Iconis, will return to the Zipper Factory for a limited engagement beginning Jan. 9, 2009.

Iconis, who has penned The Black Suits and The Plant That Ate Dirty Socks, created the evening of music that was previously seen at the Zipper in October under the direction of John Simpkins. The 2009 Zipper engagement will play Friday evenings through Feb. 27, 2009.

Simpkins will again direct Things to Ruin, which, press notes state, explores "human beings who are messy, emotional, drugged up, knocked down, inspired, electric and who don't have nearly enough time to cause the kind of commotion they so desperately need to."

Returning for the winter engagement are Nick Blaemire (Glory Days), Katrina Rose Dideriksen (Addams Family), Badia Farha (Paper Mill's Little Shop of Horrors), Sarah Glendening (Mask), Ian Kagey, Lance Rubin (The Plant That Ate Dirty Socks), Brent Stranathan, Mike Pettry, Eric William Morris (Coram Boy) and Jason "SweetTooth" Williams.

Things To Ruin has musical supervision by Matt Hinkley, choreography by Jennifer Werner, set design by Michael Schweikardt, lighting design by Chris Dallos, costume supervision by Michelle Eden Humphrey and sound by Craig Kaufman.
