The Broadway musical Irving Berlin's White Christmas will get some TV air time in the coming days.
Expect to hear "Happy Holiday," "I've Got My Love to Keep Me Warm" and "White Christmas" on "GMA."
Locally, on New York City stations, WABC's "A New York Holiday" (Channel 7, Dec. 13 at 7:30 PM) will go backstage with White Christmas prop master David Speer and head electrician Jack Culver "to discover the magic of making snow on Broadway." (The climax of the musical at the Marquis Theatre includes snow falling throughout the auditorium.)
WCBS' "Eye on New York" feature "Dana Tyler Backstage" (Channel 2, Dec. 14 at 6:30 AM) will focus on costumes, featuring costume designer Carrie Robbins and actresses Kerry O'Malley and Meredith Patterson (the segment first aired on Nov. 27 and Nov. 30).
Irving Berlin's White Christmas is currently playing a limited engagement at Broadway's Marquis Theatre. For more information visit whitechristmasthemusical.com.
