Center Stage
Dec. 23: Zina Goldrich and Marcy Heisler,
songwriters of "Taylor, The Latte Boy" and other cabaret hits, have released on all-star CD of their musical Dear Edwina, which is also currently making its Off-Broadway debut. They're in the studio this week to take us through
the project and discuss their Broadway-bound Ever After.
This week's "Center Stage" debuts at 7 PM ET Tuesday, with repeats scheduled for (all times ET) 2 AM Wednesday, Dec. 24; 11 PM Wednesday, Dec. 24; 2 PM Thursday, Dec. 25; 11 AM Saturday, Dec. 27; and 4 PM Sunday, Dec. 28.

Dec. 24: Playbill Radio goes backstage at Broadway's Imperial Theatre to talk to Billy Elliot stars Carole Shelley and Greg Jbara about the show's challenges and rewards, and what it's like to work with all those kids.

We re-introduce you to more than a dozen up-and-coming songwriters who have made their debuts in that time and who will be making music on Broadway in the twenty-first century.

Dec. 27: Writer/actor Harvey Fierstein pays a holiday visit. He has returned to Broadway's Hairspray for the final month of the musical's successful run, playing Edna Turnblad, the role that he originated in the hit show over six years ago.
Each week's "Theater Talk" show debuts at 7 PM (ET) Saturday, with repeats scheduled for (all times ET) 11 PM Monday, Dec. 29 and 2 PM Tuesday, Dec. 30.
