Broadway couple Marin Mazzie and Jason Danieley will be part of a limited winter tour with the Boston Pops in 2009.

Entitled Tribute to Oscar and Tony, the nine performances will feature Oscar and Tony-winning tunes. Mazzie and Danieley will be backed by the Boston Pops under the direction of conductor Keith Lockhart.

Tribute to Oscar and Tony, according to press notes, "is the ultimate setting for film and theatre enthusiasts to hear the most memorable award-winning themes from the golden age of cinema to the latest Hollywood blockbuster, and from the classics of the Great White Way to the most recent Broadway hit musical."

The itinerary for Tribute to Oscar and Tony follows:
March 3, 2009 at 3 PM at the Bob Carr Auditorium in Orlando, FL
March 9, 2009 at 8 PM at the Hayes Hall/Philharmonic Center in Naples FL
March 10 at 8 PM at the Van Wezel PAH in Sarasota, FL
March 11 at 8 PM at the Broward Center in Ft. Lauderdale, FL
March 13 at 8 PM at the Peabody Auditorium in Daytona Beach, FL
March 14 at 5:30 PM at the Riverside Park in Vero Beach, FL
March 15 at 2 and 8 PM at the Kravis Center in West Palm Beach, FL
March 16 at 8 PM at Ruth Eckerd Hall Clearwater, FL

Mazzie is a three-time Tony Award nominee for her performances in Kiss Me, Kate; Ragtime; and Passion. Her other theatrical credits include Into the Woods, Big River, The World Goes 'Round, the City Center Encores! productions of Kismet and Out of this World and Off-Broadway's The Trojan Women: A love Story, where she met husband Jason Danieley. Mazzie also starred in the London production of Kiss Me, Kate, where she earned an Olivier Award nomination for her work. She was also seen in the Actors' Fund of America's concert staging of On the Twentieth Century, and she recently completed runs in both the New York and London companies of Spamalot.

Jason Danieley, who was most recently on Broadway in Curtains, played Dr. Rey in the Signature Theatre's production of The Highest Yellow. He starred on Broadway as Malcolm MacGregor in The Full Monty, a role he repeated in London. For his Broadway debut in Candide, Danieley received a Theatre World Award and a Drama Desk nomination. His other theatrical credits include the City Center Encores! production of Strike Up the Band as well as Off-Broadway runs in Dream True and Floyd Collins. Danieley is married to Broadway actress Marin Mazzie.
