Rehearsals are underway for Primary Stages' upcoming Off-Broadway run of Donald Margulies' Shipwrecked! An Entertainment – The Amazing Adventures of Louis de Rougemont (As Told by Himself).

Lisa Peterson (The Model Apartment) directs the New York premiere at 59E59 Theaters. The cast features Michael Countryman in the title role oppsite Donnetta Lavinia Grays as Player 1 and Jeremy Bobb as Player 2.

The Pulitzer Prize-winning author of Dinner With Friends penned the new work that centers on a "tale of adventure that left England spellbound in the 19th century," according to Primary Stages. Shipwrecked! follows "Louis de Rougemont, a would-be explorer, [who] invites you to hear his amazing story of bravery, survival and celebrity… [and] examines how far we're willing to blur the line between fact and fiction in order to leave our mark on the world."
