Playwright and Actor Greg Suddeth Is Dead at 55

Greg Suddeth, an actor and playwright, died in Los Angeles on Dec. 19. He was 55.



Mr. Suddeth's plays included Being of Sound Mind, Dance Upon Nothing and Very Cherry and Extra Clean. He won several Dramalogue awards for his play Toe to Toe.

As an actor, he acted at the Lex Theatre, New Place Theatre, Stage 9 and The Lost Studio. His credits include The Grapes of Wrath, When You Coming Back, Red Ryder, Last Call, Of Mice and Men and Fetters.

On television, he took roles on "Pushing Daisies," "Will & Grace" and "Maggie Winters."

He is survived by his wife, Sharon, a son and a daughter.
