Neil Patrick Harris, the stage and screen star most recently on Broadway in Assassins, will host the Jan. 10 broadcast of "Saturday Night Live."
The musical guest for the live telecast will be Taylor Swift, according to NBC's website.
"Saturday Night Live" airs in the New York metropolitan area on NBC, Channel 4, from 11:30 PM-1 AM ET; check local listings.
Neil Patrick Harris has been seen on Broadway in Assassins, Cabaret and Proof. He appeared in the Geffen Playhouse's production of All My Sons as well as the L.A. company of Rent, the Reprise! production of Sweeney Todd and the London mounting of tick, tick . . . BOOM! His screen credits include the current "How I Met Your Mother" as well as "Undercover Brother," "Doogie Howser, M.D.," "Stark Raving Mad" and "Joan of Arc."
