The starry revival of Samuel Beckett's Waiting for Godot, directed by Tony winner Anthony Page, will now begin previews April 3 rather than the originally announced April 10. Opening night is April 30.

As previously reported, the Roundabout Theatre Company production will feature Nathan Lane (Estragon), Bill Irwin (Vladimir), John Goodman (Pozzo) and David Strathairn (Lucky) with Matthew Schechter (Boy).

The design team includes Santo Loquasto (sets), Jane Greenwood (costumes) and Peter Kaczorowski (lights).

Waiting for Godot, according to press notes, "revolves around two seemingly homeless men waiting for someone – or something – named Godot. Vladimir (Bill Irwin) and Estragon (Nathan Lane) wait near a tree on a barren stretch of road, inhabiting a drama spun from their own consciousness. The result is a comical wordplay of poetry, dreamscapes and nonsense, which has been interpreted as a somber summation of mankind’s inexhaustible search for meaning."

Public on-sale begins Feb. 6. Through ACCESS Roundabout, 100 tickets will be available for the first preview performance (April 3) for only $10 each.
