PHOTO CALL: Exit the King's Rush, Sarandon, Ambrose and Martin Meet the Press

The cast of Exit the King — Geoffrey Rush, Susan Sarandon, Lauren Ambrose, Andrea Martin, Brian Hutchison and William Sadler — met the press Feb. 18.

Director Neil Armfield and star Rush penned the new adaptation of the Eugene Ionesco classic comedy. The show will play a limited run on Broadway at the Barrymore Theatre.

Exit the King centers on "a megalomaniacal ruler, King Berenger (Rush) whose incompetence has left his country in near ruin," read show notes. "Despite the efforts of Queen Marguerite (Sarandon) and the other members of the court to convince the King he has only 90 minutes left to live, he refuses to relinquish any control."
