PHOTO CALL: Alexander, Cohen and Co. Will Go Chasing Manet

Jane Alexander and Lynn Cohen will star in the upcoming Primary Stages production of Tina Howe's Chasing Manet Off-Broadway.

Michael Wilson directs a cast that also features Vanessa Aspillaga, Jack Gilpin, Julie Halston, David Margulies and Rob Riley. Previews begin March 24 toward an April 9 opening night.

In Chasing Manet, "a rebellious painter from a distinguished family in Boston and an ebullient Jewish woman with a huge adoring family form an unlikely bond," as show notes reveal. "Inside the confining walls of Mount Airy Nursing Home, the two plot an escape to Paris aboard the QE2. But can they possibly pull it off amidst the chaos of their surroundings?"
