Michelle Tattenbaum stages the production, which began Jan. 29 and officially opened Feb. 16 at the company's downtown home. The run, originally slated to end March 9, first extended to March 30 and now adds four more weeks of performances.
"Nothing is what it seems in Love/Stories (Or But You Will Get Used to It)," according to show notes. The five short plays include "a casting session for a play about a love affair goes awry. A talkback with a theatre audience becomes the occasion for a life-altering choice. A couple moving in together finds that greater intimacy can have surprising results. And much more."
The Bats, the Off-Broadway's company resident acting company, comprise the cast: Felipe Bonilla, Laurel Holland, Maren Langdon, Michael Micalizzi and John Russo.
The design team includes Jerad Schomer (set), Joe Chapman (lights), Jessica Pabst (costumes), Brandon Wolcott, (sound) and Elizabeth Kandel (graphic design).
