PHOTO CALL: Laura Osnes in Broadway's South Pacific

Laura Osnes stepped into the role of Ensign Nellie Forbush in the Tony Award-winning revival of South Pacific on March 10.

She is temporarily replacing Tony nominee Kelli O'Hara, who began maternity leave March 7 and is scheduled to return Oct. 6.

Laura Osnes made her Broadway debut as Sandy in the 2007 revival of Grease following a talent search on the reality-television competition "Grease: You're The One That I Want." She was also seen in the Kennedy Center's Broadway: Three Generations concerts.
