Transport Group will offer the songs of Tony Award-winning composer William Finn, and a conversation between the songwriter and TG artistic director Jack Cummings III, 7 PM June 15 at the Lucille Lortel Theatre.

The benefit evening, part of TG's An Evening With… series, will feature vocals by Broadway and Off-Broadway stars Alison Fraser, Janet Metz, Heather MacRae, Mary Testa, Ann Harada, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Chip Zien, Christian Borle, Sally Wilfert, Adam Heller, Michael Rupert and more.

Finn's musicals include Falsettos, A New Brain and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Here's how Transport Group characterizes him: "A heavily autobiographical writer, his exploration of the gay and Jewish experiences in contemporary America are unparalleled. He is universally revered for capturing the joy and pain brought on by family, sickness and aging."

In winter 2004, Transport Group inaugurated An Evening With…, one-on-one conversations with New York's finest theatre talent, hosted by Cummings.
