Presented by Westchester's Little Fig Stage as a benefit for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, The Music of Hope will be performed by an all-teen cast on May 16 and 17 in Manhattan. Marci Elyn Schein directs the evening with musical direction by Michael V. Ficocelli and choreography by Megan Hawkins.
Also contributing original songs are Andrew Lippa (Addams Family, The Wild Party), Tony Award winner Robert Lopez (Avenue Q), Amanda Green (High Fidelity) Kim Oler and Alison Hubbard (Little Women), as well as Deborah Abramson, Steven Alper, Kristen Anderson, Danny Aquisto, Louise Beach, Sammy Buck, Alan Cancellino, Haim Cotton, Beth Falcone, Michael V. Ficocelli, Ed Goldschneider, Sarah Knapp, James Millar, Adam Overett, Rose Marie Raccioppi, Peter Rutherford, William Squier, Fred Stark, Jenne Wason, Amanda Yesnowitz and Clay Zambo.
The young cast of The Music of Hope includes Alec Beresin, Courtney Brown, Lauren Ciubotaru, Chloe Coletta, EJ Couloucoundis, Catherine Donnelly, Maya Felder, Margot Hughes, Casey Hunter, Lara Manbeck, Taina Padilla, Caeley Perrine, Keely Bochicchio-Sipos and Alexandra Skolnick, as well as dancers Paige Beyer, Samantha Brown, Alex Farrel, Kylie Flynn, Christine Maroti, Alyssa Sankin, Hailey Sauerhoff and Claire Talty.
Guest performers for the evening include Carlos Lopez, Charlie Levy, Susannah Jones, Barbra Ficocelli and Doug Shapiro.
