New Group artistic director Scott Elliott — who staged the American premiere — and playwright Bruce were also on hand at The Acorn @ Theatre Row and the post-show party at New York City's Irish Rogue.
The work, which is set "on the barren, diamond-diving coast of South Africa," plays through June 27.
