PHOTO CALL: The Wiz Cast Ready for Encores! Summer Stars Staging

Ashanti, Orlando Jones and the company of the Encores! Summer Stars production of The Wiz are currently in rehearsals for the upcoming June 12-July 5 run at New York's City Center.

Thomas Kail directs the the Charlie Smalls-William F. Brown musical with his Tony Award-winning In the Heights collaborators, Andy Blankenbuehler (choreographer) and Alex Lacamoire (musical director).

Joining Ashanti (as Dorothy) and Jones (The Wiz) are LaChanze (Glinda), Tichina Arnold (Evillene), Dawnn Lewis (Addaperle), Joshua Henry (Tinman), James Monroe Iglehart (Lion) and Christian White (Scarecrow).
