Halston and Sweetie to Be Part of Pic-Up at Abrons Arts Center

Broadway comedienne Julie Halston and drag performer Sweetie will appear in the TWEED Fractured Classicks Series presentation of Pic-Up: A Summer Romance July 9 at the Abrons Arts Center.

Adapted by Stephen Pell, Pic-Up promises "original interpretations of great American plays and movies. Call it parody. Call it satire. But don't call it camp!"

In addition to Halston (Gypsy, Chasing Manet) and Sweetie, the 8 PM event will also feature Jay Rogers, Bradford Scobie, Steve Hayes, David Ilku, Greg Wallach and Bree Benton, under the direction of Kevin Maloney.
