"Law & Order: SVU" Will Return in the Fall with Hargitay, Meloni and Lahti

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Lahti will play the assistant district attorney for the initial episodes of the season. Series regular Stephanie March will return as the assistant district attorney following Lahti's engagement.
"Law & Order" veterans Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni have also renewed their contracts with the series for another year.
Lahti's stage credits include the 2008 Off-Broadway production of A Body of Water, as well as The Heidi Chronicles on Broadway and the Los Angeles production of Third. She earned an Emmy and Golden Globe Award for her performance on "Chicago Hope."
