Tony and Academy Award-winner Liza Minnelli will guest star on the first season of the new Lifetime comedy series "Drop Dead Diva."
According to EW.com, Liza Minnelli (Liza's Back…, "Cabaret") and Delta Burke (Thoroughly Modern Millie, "Designing Women"), will portray dueling psychic sisters who run competing businesses across the street from one another. Rosie O'Donnell (Seussical, No, No Nannette), will guest as a judge on the episode that is set to air Sept. 20.
Stage performers regularly featured in the series include Brooke Elliot (Pirate Queen, Taboo) in the lead role of attorney Jane Bingum, as well as Margaret Cho (The Sensuous Woman), Kate Levering (42nd Street) and Josh Stamberg (Distracted).
Josh Berman is the creator and executive producer of "Drop Dead Diva," which is also executive produced by Craig Zadan and Neil Meron ("Chicago," "Hairspray").
