HBO will broadcast Robin Williams' new one-man show, Weapons of Self-Destruction, in December, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Williams had been scheduled to play Broadway's Neil Simon Theatre this past April in Self-Destruction, but the limited engagement was canceled so Williams could undergo heart surgery. As previously reported, the award-winning actor will return to the road in September.
The HBO special will be filmed at Washington, D.C.'s DAR Constitution Hall in November.
New Broadway dates have yet to be announced.
Weapons of Self-Destruction, according to press notes, "highlights Williams' trademark free associations and riffs on social and political absurdities."
Williams was seen on Broadway in Robin Williams: Live on Broadway (July 11-14, 2002) and V.I.P. Night on Broadway (April 22, 1979).
