Broadway Barks co-founder Bernadette Peters will make an appearance on "Good Day New York" July 10 to promote the upcoming animal adopt-a-thon.
Shrek's John Tartaglia, who is also participating in the July 11 Broadway Barks in Shubert Alley, will also help promote the event with an appearance on "WCBS News" the day of the event. Tartaglia, who will also be accompanied by two ASPCA dogs, is scheduled to appear during the 9:30-10 AM ET half-hour.
The day-long Broadway Barks 11, hosted by Peters and Mary Tyler Moore, is scheduled for 3:30-6:30 PM in Shubert Alley July 11. Peters will autograph copies of her best-selling tome, also called "Broadway Barks," at 1 PM.
The celebrity presentations of pets from citywide animal shelters will begin at 5:30 PM.
Shubert Alley is located in Manhattan between 44th and 45th Streets, between Broadway and Eighth Avenue.
