PHOTO CALL: Vanities Musical Opens Off-Broadway

The new musical Vanities, starring Lauren Kennedy, Sarah Stiles and Anneliese van der Pol, celebrated its Off-Broadway opening night July 16 at Second Stage Theatre.
Director Judith Ivey, composer-lyricist David Kirshenbaum and librettist (and playwright of the original source material) Jack Heifner were on hand for the festivities at New York City's HB Burger.

Vanities, the musical, "spans the turbulent '60s through the late '80s and explores how important friends are as one faces life's defining moments: growing up, getting older and getting over it," according to show notes.
