Dylan Baker adapted and directed George Kelly's The Torch-Bearers, part of the 2009 season at Williamstown Theatre Festival. Andrea Martin, Katie Finneran, Edward Herrmann, John Rubinstein and more starred.

Baker directed the work (July 29–Aug. 9) on the Main Stage with a cast that also included Becky Ann Baker, Yusef Bulos, John Doherty, Phillip Goodwin, Jessica Hecht, Lizbeth MacKay, Katherine McGrath and James Waterston.

The Torch-Bearers is billed as a "1920s farce in which a troupe of amateur actors rehearse and perform a show-stopping new play—or try to with all their might," as show notes read. "Their stage is riddled with comedic drama, suspense, and good old-fashioned witty mayhem."
