PHOTO CALL: The 39 Steps Stars Ready Tour at La Jolla Playhouse

The stars of the national tour of the Alfred Hitchcock-inspired The 39 Steps prep for the road with a run currently playing California's La Jolla Playhouse.

Ted Deasy stars as Richard Hannay opposite Claire Brownell as Annabella Schmidt/Pamela/Margaret, Eric Hissom as Man #1 and Scott Parkinson as Man #2.

Maria Aitken directed Patrick Barlow's stage adaptation, which is based on an original concept by Simon Corble and Nobby Dimon, and based on the book by John Buchan with plenty of allusions to the Hitchcock thriller and the director himself.
