PHOTO CALL: JoBeth Williams Stars in The Night Is a Child at Pasadena Playhouse

JoBeth Williams heads the cast of the Pasadena Playhouse's current production of Charles Randolph-Wright's The Night Is a Child.

Sheldon Epps directs a cast that also features Monette Magrath, Armando McClain, Maceo Oliver, Tyler Pierce and Sybyl Walker.

The Night Is a Child, according to Pasadena Playhouse, "draws on magical realism, Samba, and the cultural pulse of Brazil to tell the tale of one mother and her family, as they seek understanding, redemption and acceptance after a tragedy leaves them torn apart. Ultimately, it's a story of healing, hope and letting go."
