Steven Sendor will produce three family-friendly shows at New World Stages in early October.

The three shows include Mike Messer: Live, Solo & Unplugged (the lead singer of The Dirty Sock Funtime Band will perform Oct. 3), Julie Reiber in Colors of the Rainbow (Reiber, who has been seen in Wicked and All Shook Up, will sing Oct. 4) and The Dirty Sock Funtime Band (Oct. 10). The latter is described as "the first real rock n' roll band for kids."

Producer Sendor told Playbill.com that the "shows [are] equally entertaining for both the kids (ages 2-13) and their parents. As a parent of a five year old, I can tell you — that is practically a 'godsend.'"

Each show will offer three performances: 12:30 PM, 2 PM and 3:30 PM.

New World Stages is located at 340 West 50th Street in Manhattan. For tickets call (212) 239-6200 or visit www.KidsShowNY.com.
