Nora and Delia Ephron's Love, Loss, and What I Wore begins its limited engagement Sept. 21 at Off-Broadway's Westside Theater.

The Ephrons' play, based on Ilene Beckerman's book of the same name, will officially open its 12-week run Oct. 1. Karen Carpenter directs the work "about clothes and the memories they trigger."

The opening cast (Sept. 21-Oct. 18) features Samantha Bee, Tyne Daly, Katie Finneran, Natasha Lyonne and Rosie O'Donnell. The second cast (Oct. 21-Nov. 15) includes Mary Birdsong, Tyne Daly, Lisa Joyce, Jane Lynch and Mary Louise Wilson. The Nov. 18–Dec. 13 cast includes Kristin Chenoweth, Lucy DeVito, Capathia Jenkins, Rhea Perlman and Rita Wilson.

"We are thrilled to have assembled such a fantastic group of actresses who will vividly bring to life the wonderful stories Nora and Delia Ephron have created," said producer Daryl Roth in a statement.

The design team includes Jo Winiarski (scenic design), Jessica Jahn (costume design), Jeff Croiter (lighting design), Walter Trarbach (sound design) and Maria Verel (make-up design).

Carpenter also directed the Monday night readings of Love, Loss, and What I Wore that were presented this past winter and spring as a benefit for Dress for Success. A portion of the proceeds from the current run will also benefit Dress for Success.
