Calendar Girls to End Run at West End's Coward in January; Move to Another Theatre Expected

The stage version of Calendar Girls, currently running at the West End's Noel Coward Theatre, will ends its run there Jan. 9, 2010, following the announcement that Lucy Prebble's Enron will begin performances there Jan. 16, 2010.

According to a press spokesperson, Calendar Girls is not expected to end its life there, but will move to another theatre, yet to be announced.

The current cast, including Anita Dobson, June Brown, Jill Baker, Jill Halfpenny, Sara Crowe, Jerry Hall, Gemma Atkinson and Jack Ryder, are currently appearing in the show through Oct. 31 only. A new company is expected to follow them in November.

Calendar Girls is directed by Hamish McColl, has a set by Robert Jones, with lighting by Malcolm Rippeth, costumes by Emma Williams and music by Steve Parry. It is produced by David Pugh and Dafydd Rogers.
