The Jay Bernzweig comedy Made in Heaven, a recent winner at the Midtown International Theatre Festival, will begin performances Off-Broadway at the SoHo Playhouse on Oct. 22.

Andrew Shaifer directs the four-person work that received the Outstanding Production of a Play Award after a limited run during the 2009 festival. Barbara Ligeti, Andrew Shaifer and Victor Syrmis produce the Off-Broadway transfer, which officially opens Nov. 2.

The cast includes Alex Anfanger (Moments), Kevin T. Collins (Angels, "Taking Woodstock"), Maia Madison (House and Garden, "Weeds") and Steve Wilder (“Days of Our Lives,” “Melrose Place").

"In Made In Heaven," press notes state, "conjoined twins Max and Benjie share everything — a life, a career, even a penis. But when they plan to propose marriage to their mutual girlfriend, Benjie reveals a secret so big it threatens to tear the brothers apart. Family ties are put to the ultimate test in this irreverent comedy about love in all its various forms -- and the messy complications that invariably get in its way."

The production will have scenic design by Lex Liang, costume design by Jeffrey Wallach and lighting design by Kia Rogers.

Made In Heaven is currently booking through Jan. 3, 2010. For tickets, phone (212) 691-1555 or visit SoHoPlayhouse. The SoHo Playhouse is located at 15 Vandam Street, between Sixth Avenue and Varick Street.
