Wendell Pierce stars Off-Broadway in Nathan Louis Jackson's Broke-ology at Lincoln Center Theater's Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater.

Thomas Kail (In the Heights) directs the work he staged in its debut at 2008's Williamstown Theatre Festival.

Pierce leads the cast that also features Francois Battiste, Crystal A. Dickinson and Alano Miller. (Battiste and Pierce reprise their turns from the previous run).

Broke-ology "is the story of the King family who have weathered the hardships of life and survived with their love for each other intact. But when two brothers are called home to take care of their ailing father, one of them must choose to follow the life he dreams of or honor the unspoken promise of loyalty to his family."
