Smith, De Lisa, Wilson, DePaul and More Cast in Barrington's Fantasticks

Casting has been announced for the Barrington Stage Company's upcoming production of the classic Tom Jones-Harvey Schmidt musical The Fantasticks.

Directed by Andrew Volkoff, the famed musical will play the Pittsfield, MA, venue Oct. 7-18. Opening night is scheduled for Oct. 10 at 8 PM.

The cast will feature Cory Michael Smith and Dana De Lisa as the young lovers Matt and Luisa with Steve Wilson as El Gallo, Darin DePaul as Hucklebee, John-Charles Kelly as Bellomy, Gordon Stanley as Henry, Jonathan Karp as the Mute and Bob Sorenson as Mortimer.

Janet Watson will choreograph with musical direction by Christopher D. Littlefield. The production will be designed by Jeff Davis (lighting), Kristina Lucka (costumes) and Brad Berridge (sound). Sam Craig is the scenic and prop co-ordinator; Renee Lutz is production stage manager.

Songs from the popular musical include "Try to Remember," "They Were You," "Much More," "Soon It's Gonna Rain" and "I Can See It."
