The weekly live talk show, which includes interviews and performances from Broadway stars, is held at 6 PM at the New York cabaret Don't Tell Mama. There is a $10 donation and a two-drink minimum. The donation goes directly to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, the nation's leading industry-based, not-for-profit AIDS fundraising and grant-making organization Don't Tell Mama is located in New York City on West 46th Street, between Eighth and Ninth Avenues. That same evening, The Toxic Avenger, which was named the 2009 Best New Off-Broadway Musical by the Outer Critics Circle, will mark its 200th performance at New World Stages.
Producers Jean Cheever and Tom Polum also announced Oct. 1 that they have signed a deal with On the Road, the national theatrical booking agency, to bring the musical to various cities around the country. In a statement Polum said, "Going to The Toxic Avenger is a great escape from everyday life and a chance to just have some fun. We also look forward to sharing the laughter with our neighbors just to the north when Toxie has its Canadian premiere in Toronto at The Music Hall. The opening is scheduled for Halloween night . . . how great is that?!"

Based on the 1985 classic cult film from Lloyd Kaufman, The Toxic Avenger features music and lyrics by David Bryan and book and lyrics by Joe DiPietro. John Rando directed a cast that currently includes Diana DeGarmo, Nick Cordero, Demond Green, Jonathan Root and Nancy Opel.
