Pellow first played the role of Billy Flynn in the West End in 2002, and subsequently reprised his performance on Broadway. He appeared as the Arbiter in a two-night run of Chess, presented in concert at the Royal Albert Hall in May 2008, and subsequently released on DVD and CD. He subsequently also played the lead role of Darryl van Horne in a ten-month national tour of Dana P. Rowe and John Dempsey's 2000 musical The Witches of Eastwick in 2008. As lead vocalist of the pop group Wet Wet Wet, Pellow had 12 British Top Ten hits including three No. 1 singles: "With A Little Help From My Friends," "Goodnight Girl" and "Love is All Around." Since leaving Wet Wet Wet in 1999, he went on to a successful solo career, with albums including "Smile," "Between the Covers" and "Moonlight Over Memphis."
Pellow will be joined on the tour by Emma Barton as Roxie Hart. Best known for her role as Honey Mitchell in BBC1's "EastEnders," her other television roles include "Spooks" on BBC1 and "Secret History" on Channel 4. Previous stage roles include Peggy in The Secret Garden (RSC), Norma Cassidy in Victor/Victoria (Bridewell) and Marty in Grease (Victoria Palace Theatre).
