Stuart Ross' 1950's musical revue Forever Plaid begins performances at the Pittsburgh CLO Cabaret Oct. 8.

After a successful run at Pittsburgh CLO in 2004, original Off-Broadway Forever Plaid cast member Guy Stroman returns to stage the production that runs through March 28, 2010.

The Plaids include Chris Crouch (Frankie), J.D. Daw (Jinx), Joseph Domencic (Smudge), Marcus Stevens (Sparky) and understudy Mark Turner.

Deana Muro serves as musical director with lighting design by Andrew David Ostrowski.

Stuart Ross created the musical that includes hits from the 1950s interpreted by a musical foursome who are killed on the way to their first big gig. The musical imagines a heavenly concert in which the Plaids deliver the concert that never was.
