Performers scheduled for the 8 PM show, called A Closer Look: A Night With BIV and Friends, include BIV members as well as performances by Tony Winners Michael Cerveris (Sweeney Todd) and Victoria Clark (The Light in the Piazza), and Norm Lewis (Little Mermaid), Shoshana Bean (Hairspray, Wicked), Tituss Burgess (Little Mermaid, Jersey Boys), Chester Gregory (Dreamgirls, Hairspray), The Broadway Boys, Nathan Lee Graham (The Wild Party), Eliseo Roman (In the Heights), Jeanette Bayardelle (The Color Purple), Joseph Joubert (Billy Elliot), Marva Hicks (Caroline, or Change), Crystal Monee Hall (Rent) and Lisa Lynne Mathis.
The event celebrates BIV's newly acquired not-for-profit status and launches its outreach program,, which will bring a choral program to organizations dealing with high risk youth. Standing room is available at the door.
The performance location is Rootstein Display Mannequins at 205 West 19th Street between Seventh and Eighth Avenues.

The not-for-profit Broadway Inspirational Voices was originally founded by actor Michael McElroy (Big River, Rent) in 1994 as the Broadway Gospel Choir. The group was reincarnated into its current form in 1999 as The Broadway Inspirational Voices. The Broadway Inspirational Voices' second album, "Great Joy: A Gospel Christmas," was released on Sh-K-Boom Records in 2003 and received a Grammy Award nomination.
BIV's mission "is to bring people of all races and religious backgrounds together to explore and perform traditional American Musical art forms with an emphasis on Gospel music."
